NORTHBROOK, Ill., April 30, 2013 — /PRNewswire/ — The following is a notification from UL to consumers and retailers that the power adapter identified below bears a counterfeit UL Mark for the United States and Canada. This power adapter has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standards for Safety and it is unknown if it complies with any safety requirements.

Identification: On the product: This power adapter bears a counterfeit UL Mark with the company references of “HP” and “COMPAQ COMPUTER CORPORATION.”
